The commission is comprised of representatives from interested members and invited representatives from other organizations. Cooperating with related international organizations and private organizations, the commission researches into the infrastructure for the development of electronic commerce in China regarding laws, technologies and public awareness; promotes the establishment of an appropriate framework of laws and policies; organizes and sets up a countrywide electronic commerce system which is applicable to all sectors in China and integrated with the international regime.
