During the past years, Mr. Zhang has written a large number of awarded academic papers, which were published in domestic and overseas magazines such as Forum of Law and Political Science and Magazine of Law, etc. In 2003, Mr. Zhang was granted by the China Law Society the “Award for Ten-Year Scientific Research Achievements”. Mr. Zhang is recognized as a notable lawyer in the whole military system, and has been awarded by the Chinese Government an advanced legal practitioner within the whole country as well as the military system.

Mr. Zhang Qihuai has worked as agent in many national and international lawsuits and arbitration cases both domestic and international, within or outside the military system. Some of the most prominent cases are: the arbitration of the first over-ten-million-object contract dispute? at the CIETAC Shanghai Branch, the Russia Edland Aviation Technical Service Co.Tu-154 smuggling case, which has been the first of its kind in China, the contract dispute over Zhongxing Company’s purchase of aircraft engines from Russia. In all these cases Mr. Zhang Qihuai achieved outstanding results.

As an arbitrator, Mr. Zhang arbitrated a large number of cases including the contract dispute between Siemens China Ltd. and Beijing Wanheng Shengye Electronics &Information System Co. Ltd., the dispute over supply agreement between eGlobal (Shenzhen) Electronics Co. Ltd, and Shenzhen Schlumberger Electronics System Co. Ltd, the contract dispute between Shanxi Xingwang Imports and exports Ltd, , the case of default project payment between Yue Po Engineering Co., Ltd. and Nanjing International Hotel Ltd. etc, in all of which Mr. Zhang’s arbitrations were accepted and welcomed by both parties.

Mr. Zhang Qihuai serves as the permanent legal consultant for a large number of enterprises and institutions both at home and abroad, within and outside the military system.
